  1. Oh my... that sure does look cold for spring! I probably shouldn't tell you but our Spring and Winter here in Port Hedland is kind of like heaven. It very rarely ever rain and our skies are the prettiest blue with an occasion fluffy could passing through. The morning are just starting the have a "little" chill but not enough yet to put on a cardigan and the days are still around 35 degrees. I think with your weather sewing would be one of the best things you could be doing. The snow sure does look pretty though :)

    1. I had to Google 35 degrees because I know that you and most of the rest of the world use celsius...including my twin sister who lives in Canada....anyway I found out that 35 celsius is darned warm, and it made me think that you have it made except for that occasional fluffy cloud marring those blue skies.
There is an old saying I just remembered.....The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in Duluth!! Anyway, when and/if our summer arrives I will be sure to post a few photos of our beautiful town.

  2. So funny! I'm in Toronto (although I grew up in Alberta) and here people complain endlessly about the weather, regardless. This week, we are having the appropriate last dump of winter snow - in April - which is supposed to happen, as we are rather north. I've decided every time I hear someone complain about it I'll remind them that spring is SUPPOSED to be cold, wet and a little miserable with the occasional lovely day, and the last few years have been wrongly warm in March, which causes concern for drought, global warming, etc. That aside, I love your picture! I'm a true Northern girl at heart and love the snow. Great weather for hibernation sewing!

  3. Thank you for the perspective Tia! April is a fickle month. I saw on the news that the cherry blossoms are blooming in Wash DC and I guess it made me think that we should be out of blizzard season.
My twin sister lives in Moose Jaw, Sask. By the way, I love Canada!
    Also, I love your blog!
